The Cometic MLS (Multi Layer Steel) head gasket for the Briggs & Stratton Animal* engine is comprised of three layers of stainless steel.

The 2 outer layers are embossed stainless steel providing a superior seal with excellent rebound characteristics and corrosion resistance.

The reusable Cometic MLS head gaskets are far advanced over their OEM counterpart in sealing the deck surfaces of the engine where OEM gaskets have a tendency to allow warpage and distortion causing leakage because of high cylinder pressures during use.

The Cometic MLS head gaskets have been used in multiple variations of 4-cycle Karting engines and are considered to be far superior to anything else available on the market .
